Thor. 025/1998 15 May 1998 To: Director of registration Division The Stock Exchange of Thailand Subject : Inform of Resolutions Adopted at the 125th Board of Director Meeting Singer Thailand Public Company Limited board of directors meeting(125th) on Friday 15th May 1998 has approved the following changes to its membership : 1. The meeting unanimously agreed that no interim dividend be declared due to the financial result of the Company which shows the net loss of Baht 219,059,947 in the Company's statements of income(unaudited) for the nine months ended 31 March 1998. 2. Mr. James Ching Man Yuan, the Managing Director tendered his request for early retirement from the position of the Managing Director of the Company to the Board. His resignation shall be effective on 31 May 1998. Resulting from the retirement of Mr.James Ching Man Yuan, the power of director of the Company shall be changed to be as follows: "Mr. Wadhana Trikandha sign jointly with Mr. Sophon Pholvilai and with the Company's seal affixed or any one from these two directors sign jointly with any other director with the Company's seal affixed."
