( Translation ) 003/1999 Date : February 2, 1999 Re : Singer Thailand granted to change period ending To : Managing Director Stock Exchange of Thailand The Company was approved by the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders No.31 dated October 22, 1998 to alter the fiscal year of the company commencing January 1 ending December 31 of every year. The said alteration was approved by the Revenue Department and the Commercial Registration Department on December 8, 1998 and December 17, 1998 respectively. The Company has already submitted the 1st quarter financial statements ended September 30, 1998 and will submit for the six months ended December 31, 1998 to SET.
